During his by-poll campaign in Payakaraopeta of Visakhapatnam, Kiran Kumar Reddy alleged that Jagan amassed wealth through illegal means during the tenure of YSR as chief minister. Pointing out that Jagan has resorted to financial irregularities, Kiran said that the YSRC Chief will not come out of jail anytime soon.
Responding to YS Vijayamma's allegations that Congress chalked out a conspiracy to put her son behind bars, CM Kiran said Jagan wasn't arrested for fighting against the issues related to farmers and students, but for the transfer of illegal investments into his companies and also for making the lives of poor people miserable by encroaching lands in the name of SEZs. If Kiran's prediction on Jagan's jail term comes true, then the goal of YSRC Chief to become CM will remain as a dream forever.
